I’ve never been to Florida but I’m aware of it’s legendary heat and humidity.
In NJ the same conditions exist in summer and in the southern half of the state fires in The Pine Barrens are a threat.
More people go bat poop crazy after two or three days of 95-100 degree heat and like wise humidity than any other time of the year.
