That said, my work in Colombia years ago confirmed Venezuela’s drug trade with America was being overlooked ( and the fact Maduro was issuing Venezuelan passports to ME Islamic terrorists) and needed to be dealt with.
Colombia was just a slice of the source of drugs entering. I have no problem with Trump taking firm action against the drug cartels in Venezuela , if done in a cunning manner as to not create full blown sovereign hostilities. Trump has ways of doing that, as we are witnessing ( blowing drug runners out of the water).
