Battery could be seriously damaged internally as a result of a collision without showing any visible external damage. This is probably true with automotive starting batteries, they can also freeze when partially discharged, and do bad, bad things many months later.
ALL batteries, in general, suck [along no shortage of axes].
Somehow necessary these daze, much more so than in my Yute.
