Servicepeople first need to be trained to do military duties.
Then they need to be trained do law enforcement duty and do law enforcement duty until they need to do military duty.
The idea of paying $1 trillion/year to be ready to fight a war that hopefully never will come is absurd.
Servicepeople need to earn their federal keep or find other employment.
This idea is absurd, as is training costing a trillion. The entire military budget for 2025 is less that $850 mill.
I you don't train hard, you will never be ready. The more realistic the better.
