Biggest mistake PF and Waters made was scratching the plans to do “The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking” in favor of “The Final Cut”.

Pros and Cons would have been a much better PF album, and Gilmour was actually enthusiastic about doing it.

I can't stand PF, doesn't The Final Cut explain why he is the way he today? It explains why he hates Jews because they killed his father by starting World War II. (I don't believe that, but Waters does.)
