The line got thunderous applause by the way.

I LOVE Massie. He is such a great guy. I’d go so far as to call him a .......MAVERICK. The democrats could use more like him.
But the Dems vote for foreign aid in huge numbers. He doesn’t
Doesn’t that wreck your argument?
I was making fun of him.
There really is no more money. 37 plus trillion in national debt.
President Trump has to put tariffs on other countries like South Korea to twist their arms so they send 350 billion dollars to invest in this country for example.
Let’s stop kidding ourselves that we can send billions to other countries.
Well, he’s not wrong.
Well, he’s right. A family very deeply in debt (and borrowing more) should not be donating to charities. It really doesn’t matter how good the charities are.
Some goes for a country.
No name?
Massie is still covering up names of people in Epstein's "black book".
Nope, he's not. Every single representative, Democrat and Republican, should feel the exact same way. Every tax dollar spent by the government should directly benefit Americans -- especially hard-working, tax-paying Americans -- no exceptions.
If other countries need assistance they can borrow the money, always repaid with interest.
we are the poorest country in the world, we cant afford to give anyone money.
100+ trillion in debt
--- "Some goes for a country."
One observes that our national debt level is now about the same as at the height of WWII. After WWII, this nation earned down that debt in several ways, and since 2000, it has ballooned from about $ 5 trillion to $ 37 trillion.
He’s right. We’re like ‘Diamond Jim Brady’—bankrupt but still buying drinks for the house.
I wish that Trump would stop saying we are going to be a rich country from the tariffs. The vast majority of Americans are not rich, but they know that there are some who are. I wish Trump would talk about how much less taxpayer money would have to be spent on interest on the national debt if we bring in lots of money from tariffs. Ordinary people understand paying interest on credit card debt. You get no additional food, clothing or goodies when you pay interest.
President Trump is trying to draw money into this country so it has the money to invest grow the economy and create new tax revenue down the road.
But were experiencing the inflation caused by wasteful COVID spending and tariffs increase the costs of goods we pay for.
I think people do need to see the depth of their credit card debt.
I faced that in recent years paying my way out of significant credit card balances with hundreds of interest dollars involved each month.
I appreciate the tariffs. I just want Trump to stop talking about becoming rich when we’re $37 trillion in debt.
But were experiencing the inflation caused by wasteful COVID spending
Want to see how much they actually spent? It’s mind blowing.

There was, I'm sure, no foreign aide in the Biden-era CRs Massie voted for, right?
The problem is, that instead of benefitting the whole of the country with the proceeds from these tariffs, he’s promising to subsidize big ag, and big ed, and everyone the lobbyists tell him to cater to-—— so it’s not going to accomplish didley squat. When the government get it’s hands on money, any money; there are millions of people with their hands out fighting over it. Stop expecting Trump to be any different.
I know, it’s disgusting.... most of it wasted or outright paid to fraudsters. Now, go look up how much of the covid spending has ceased. It’s still going out.
The amounts were built into the continuing cr’s. Whether it was designated for covid or not they never pulled the amounts out.
