Was NEVER a hippie, just went to school with a herd of ‘em and figured out before I set foot on that campus that I would just have to run silent/deep or I’d have to fight my way in and out of the place every day until I got sent to jail for killin’ someone.
So I graduated with a bunch of other vets of similar tactical persuasion, was one of two people out of a class of 40 that had job offers and topped off the deal by taking the prettiest little almost-hippie girl in the place away with me.
