This is the case for the Indian student energy engineer that works for me. Not cool. You invest time and resources to find someone qualified, they move to Florida for you,and now have no hope of transferring from F1 to H1B. It is a cruel joke for both employers and employees.

Well we'll just have to adjust to hiring/training Americans. That's the way it always should have been anyway. We NEVER should have allowed companies to rig the game against American workers by bringing in hordes of cheap foreign labor.

By all means reduce costly regulations, reduce taxes and get rid of Gaia worship so we can have low energy costs. But on the other hand, make it clear that companies need to hire Americans and pay American wages. And to "help" them make that decision, slap tariffs on foreign goods and nice hefty fees on foreign labor.

Do everything we can to reduce costs to business but at the same time, require them to hire Americans. That's what's best for the country.
