Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) CEO Dana White defended the UFC’s "unapologetically masculine" attitude on "60 Minutes" Sunday night.
Correspondent Jon Wertheim spoke with White about the UFC’s rise, particularly among young men. Wertheim pointed to White’s past criticism of the "wussification" of America and asked if attitudes had shifted. White said he believes they have.
"We are definitely unapologetically masculine," White said.
"Can this bubble over too much?" Wertheim asked. "When you hear toxic masculinity, what do you–"
"What’s that mean?" White interrupted, laughing. "What’s the definition of ‘toxic’? … How can somebody be too masculine? Can you be too masculine?"
After some back and forth, White finally answered.
"No. The answer is hell no," White said.
White also emphasized his support for free speech and opposition to cancel culture, condemning people losing jobs over controversial online posts.
"I think you’re a disgusting human being if you’re celebrating the death of another human being, but people make mistakes and people are gonna do dumb things," White said. "I don’t like trying to destroy people’s lives over doing something dumb."
White recently confirmed plans with former President Donald Trump to host a UFC event at the White House in 2026 to mark America’s 250th birthday.

Must have been an Invicta night. With all due respect to every woman who has the courage to go in the cage, their fights are about as exciting as watching a cri ket match - with actual crickets.
Female boxers are hot. Not really sexy, just the way they fight. Men are kinda predictable, but them girl fights are something else!
Beginning in 1972, when they came out with the Trac II disposable razor, I used Gillette razors almost exclusively until 2019, when they ran that “toxic masculinity” ad. I haven’t used a Gillette razor or any other Gillette product since.
I prefer to watch them warm oil wrestling.

but then their ‘toxic masculinity” accusations evolved into any male acts or decisions that femenists didnt like, amd soon every male was accused of “toxic masculinity” practically, except for the whimps, and sissies who were accepted by femenists beczuse the femenists could dominate them easily. So they pushed to sissify males by indoctrinsting them early in schools and colleges- through aggressive feminist driven com ercials and tv and radio messages.

I agree with white regarding the cancel culture - BUT - they did it to us and turnabout’s fair play. And, they show their employer in a bad light when they present their self as an advocate of assassinating those with whom they don’t agree.
As an employer, my bottom line would be a lot more important than their paycheck - they can be replaced. Do you want someone so filled with hate, dealing with your customers? Do you think that they won’t spit on the food of the guy on table 5 that happens to have a MAGA hat on?
