You know that's a lie. I provided historical facts which you couldn't bother to produce when you made your generalized statement:

"It is not unusual for a nation under invasion and relentless attack suspends elections."

You never even mentioned democracies.

Yes, in my initial comment I did not mention any particular countries that skipped elections during a war; only that there were nations that skipped elections during war. I knew that was true, but, yes, did not mention any.

Then you did us all a favor by confirming that what I said was true, by providing a notice of some such nations during war.

And yes, I said “democracies” as it is generally democracies that have elections - dictators and many “kingdoms” don’t bother or have sham elections.

So what’s your point; or are you just unhappy you supplied some of the facts that made my point?
