Former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey will surrender to authorities on Friday morning, CNN reported, citing two people familiar with the plan.
The development follows his indictment by a federal grand jury earlier in the day. He faces charges of making false statements and obstructing a congressional proceeding.

I will be greatly surprised if anything comes of this. The Washington establishment will circle the wagons to prevent any real exposure or consequences. People need to understand that America’s most dangerous enemy is not some foreign entity, but Washington, DC.
There is room for more than one enemy.
Being attacked by one doesn’t necessarily mean that others of the same intensity aren’t joining in.

Do to him what they did to that Pastor’s family. HE was going to turn himself in THAT DAY but biden sent helicopters, and MANY men in full tactical gear with guns DRAWN and threatening his family and CHILDREN and wife as they were eating b’fast and getting ready for school with CNN in tow to film the terrified family. This infuriates me.

I believe the judge was appointed by Obama or Biden. Besides being an arrogant asshole, Comey is as slippery as an eel. I would applaud a sentence for jail time, but I’m not holding my breath.

The biggest question to me is will Comey rollover and give DOJ Obama and Clinton? He certainly has the goods. Possible even take FBI to evidence he’s hidden and not yet discovered.
Would the new evidence (the burn bag documents) from the recently released Durham report support the charges. It seemed like there was some smoking gun material there.
+1....as absolutely infuriating as it is, he will not spend one day in prison.
He might get dragged through the legal system for a while but I’m pretty confident that’ll be the extent of his punishment.

I was reading that Comey plans to ask the judge to drop the charges. I didn’t read on what grounds he wants them dropped but I it might be that the charges are politically motivated since Biden didn’t bring them in the last 4 years. The judges are likely all Dems and sympathetic to the cause.
We can hope but given the jurisdiction, I’m not holding my breath.
