..... The speakers were complimentary of both Paul and Massie, characterizing them as principled conservatives in the face of criticism.

Maddox characterized both Paul and Massie as the “most conservative” legislators in the nation, a comment that elicited applause from the crowd. Paul for his own part called Northern Kentucky a “bastion of conservationism” against liberal interests in Lexington and Louisville.

54-year-old Massie has occupied the House’s 4th congressional district, which includes Northern Kentucky, since 2012. He’s proven to have staying power among the electorate, carrying wide margins to victory in every election since that year.

If he were really principled like you said, wasn’t it exactly the time and place to stop Biden’s budget, ie, when he was the deciding vote?

No it wasn’t Biden’s it was the GOP , he was the deciding vote on the rules committee NO GOPer has ever blocked it like this so why do you expect him to ? he voted with the party that time ironically

It was a tough vote but he wasn’t going to block that deal

I’m in the KY 4th.
Massie wants a budget passed - commonly called regular order.
A budget hasn’t been passed since 2004.
This is a huge factor in our $37T deficit.
The Feds pumps $1T in to the economy every 100 days.
Massie is the best fiscal conservative in the House.
Massie predicted when House majority leader Johnson ran that Johnson would not take passing a budget seriously.
Massie was spot on.
GOP running someone against Massie is why the GOP is called the stupid party.
The money should be spent on a primary opponent of Senators Murkowski n Collins.
Massie will win his primary by 16%, PDJT will endorse him in the general just like PDJT has done in the last 4 elections.
The Massie primary opponent, the nurse, mentioned is prob a wonderful conservative but when she announced she had 105 Facebook followers in a far southern county of the KY 4th.
She has zero name recognition in the 4th.
If she wins the primary, the Dems will flip the 4th bec the Dems will see the fresh meat n destroy her n her reputation.
So this poll of Massie being behind by double digits is prob a push poll. 🤣🤣🤣
I don’t like casting dispersions against another conservative but she’d prob roll over into a RINO like Iowa’s Sen Ernst.

There are no party primaries in Alaska. Trying to oust Collins is pointless - she’s a placeholder for a left of center state. And even both Murkowski and Collins oppose allowing organ harvesters to be able to freely enter the United States and to impose economic sanctions on those who practice it. Massie called opposing such a barbaric thing to be ‘nosy.’ He was the only member of Congress to oppose the bill. https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4315688/posts

A bill aimed at cracking down on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its practice of forced organ harvesting passed with overwhelming support on Wednesday – though one House lawmaker voted against it.

Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., was the lone Republican to oppose the Stop Forced Organ Harvesting Act, which passed 406-1.

“It’s just another example of us trying to stick our nose in another country’s business and write their laws,” Massie told Fox News Digital after the vote. “And at the end of the day, they’re gonna do what they’re gonna do, and it’s just sort of a virtue signal over here.”

...

But his pushback is also notable now given his status as an open critic of Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., and at times, of President Donald Trump.

The bill was introduced by Rep. Chris Smith, R-N.J., and would authorize the Secretary of State to deny U.S. passports and visitor visas to people involved in organ trafficking circles.

It would also call for sanctions on entities and individuals found to have participated in the gruesome illicit industry.

Massie reasoning on this is quite idiotic! We’re not invading them to force them to stop. PRC visas need to be stopped for a whole host of reasons this is one among many.

Another example of him wanting his name in the paper. One thinks of the Oscar Wilde quote of there being no such thing as bad PR.
