Hoarding was a necessity in that time never knew when you needed a tool for something new.
People now talk about hard times if they truly knew.
I did some camping when I was in Boy Scouts, and came away with a strong dislike of it. Of course, I’ve never been much of a fan of eating outdoors either, unless it’s evening and there’s live music. 😊
The easiest way to distinguish humans from lower animals is that a human always has a knife and a way to make fire.
Humans also are the only species that can kill from a distance.
Some birds will drop prey from a height to kill or disable it. Then there are spitting cobras, which might not kill at a distance but can disable other animals at short range.
Why are we assuming that the person who left it was a hunter or a man? It might be a vegetarian and who it thought was the opposite gender. 😀
