Do you clean your solar panels? Mine, admittedly the oldest of which are only 4 years old, seem to do as well as new. I clean them once or twice per year. And they have a warranty to operate at at least 70% capacity 25 years from now (linear decline, so call it no more than 1% per year decline).
Been cleaned every year for the last five years. Not a one of them has failed. They are: Mage Powertec 230 panels. Warranties ran out at 10 years. I have 12 in series feeding one inverter that is luck to hit 1400 watts at peak sun.
I bought another brand 2 years later that are much better today.
And you trust a warranty from a company that won’t be around in 25 years?
As I understand zero solar companies have lasted that long.
