Apologies to readers who live in America for cluttering up your inbox with a message about Crazyland.

SB 771 is sitting on the desk of our sociopathic governor, and it’s a bill to punish hate speech by punishing social media platforms that carry it. The opening section defines the problem that the bill is trying to solve, and it starts with “anti-immigrant slurs,” which inflict “hate-motivated harm.”

On the day when every warm and kind lawn sign liberal on the planet is warning that taking Jimmy Kimmel off the air for a couple of episodes is precisely identical to what Literally Adolf Hitler did, the California legislature has sent the governor a measure that aims to impose million-dollar fines on social media companies that allow users to post crimethink. “I think a biological male who identifies as a woman is actually still a man.” $1,000,000 fine.

Code Pink and the Democratic Socialists of America think California is too far to the left on speech questions. Quite an accomplishment.

If you live in California, it would take you about a minute to use the form at this website to tell the governor to veto this idiocy. Remember the bill number, and make sure to include it in your message: SB 771.

Scott Wiener voted for the bill, in committee and on the floor, which is usually enough information to know which side to take.

This law is as unenforceable as the one forbidding Federal LEOs from wearing masks. Even the Ninth District will crush any attempt to enforce either law.

The question arises: why did the California Legislature pass such laws? Even the Southern states legislature during the civil rights era did not deign to impose restrictions on Federal power. They may have wished to do so, but the doctrines of nullification and interposition were knocked down in rulings before 1954. The grandfathers and great-grandfathers of the Southern legislators and governors had learned the lesson of unsuccessful secession the hard way.

These unconstitutional laws are perhaps passed on a feel good basis. However, it may be that the California Democrats are seriously thinking about secession. As serious as Chinese and Mexican cartel influence is in that state, I would not be surprised if there are plans to pull all three West Coast states away from the Union. The possible secessionist states may offer to let eastern Oregon and Washington and far northern California east of I-5 go, to prevent a Catalonia or Basque Country problem that Spain has.

“wetback” is a common slur. In my experience it is used far more often by illegal immigrants than by others. So any ‘wetback’ who uses this slur should be deported. Agreed??

“Nigga” is used far more often by .... so....

“Prove me wrong” presents the danger of someone saying something inappropriate. So such challenges should not be allowed.

Do the people in CA even see what’s going on? Are they informed on the issues, or do they just follow the party lead with no thought about the consequences. (I think I just answered my own question.)

Californians need to get up to speed on their 14th Amendment (14A) protections, that amendment applying constitutionally enumerated personal protections, freedom of speech in this example, to the states.

14th Amendment, Section 1: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States [emphasis added]; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

In fact, note that California State lost a speech-related 14A case awhile back, so that amendment is still alive and kicking, even in that state.

UC Berkeley settles landmark free speech lawsuit, will pay $70,000 to conservative group (12.4.18)

But I wouldn't be surprised if California taxpayers effectively paid the settlement, defeating one of the reasons for Section 1 if so.

The challenge is that all patriots in the nation need to come to the rescue of elite Democratic-oppressed Californians by giving PDJT an even greater MAGA Republican (no RINOs) majority Congress in 2026 who will continue to support PDJT47 who is now actively enforcing our personal constitutional protections imo.

If this were a better world, if Gov. Newsom signs the bill into law, then both he and California state lawmakers who supported the bill should be removed from office under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment for open rebellion against constitutionally enumerated protections.

"14th Amendment, Section 3: No person shall be a [all emphasis added] Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability."

Consider that there should already be federal laws that protect constitutionally enumerated rights from alleged Democratic-corrupted states like California. But patriots need to support PDJT47 with even more MAGA lawmakers in 2026 primaries before citizens will benefit imo.

You have to admire the tenacity of these turds. They know how it works too.
This bill can be passed and enforced while it waits on lawsuits and court judgements. Then they can simply say “Oh well” with no repercussions. Then they have3 gained an inch. They will then redirect a little bit, and do it again. Eroding what is moral, right, and true, all along the way.
