Probably not. The root of these crimes is a sociopathic lack of empathy. It would go something like:

Q: How would you feel if someone did that to you?
A: But nobody did that to me.

It would be impossible to visualize the shoe being on the other foot; the abstract thought process required doesn't exist for the sociopath.
