The underlying problem is that pathological altruism makes you susceptible to the scammers who prey on your charitability to set up NGOs from which they get paid fortunes of your tax dollars to "help people" with some say 5-10% of the total take maybe, arguably, actually going towards some charitable cause. It's the scammers and their enablers, you know, the Pelosis and Schumers and Soroses that need to be brought to justice.
Well, and who ever decided that it was altruistic to give away someone else’s money?
If you want altruism (and aren’t a communist) give away your own damn money.
