Speak for yourself. I am no fan of bicyclists - especially packs of them riding up and down our beach. That said, this was a young mother that did nothing to deserve this.
A piece of advice if you want to live a long life...
Do not go biking and share the street you’re travelling on with a 4,329 pound vehicle that can travel at speeds of over 100 mph. That is the definition of a death wish.
the kids ride the e-bikes today that go about 40 mph. They ignore traffic rules though. They think: “I’m just a kid on a bike.” I saw a video once where a kid on a bicycle beats a motorcycle by a huge margin. It’s basically a bicycle with a motorcycle engine on so they can go 100 miles an hour. They’re gonna have to start addressing them and making sure that they stop at stop signs and have turn signals and all sorts of things because it’s basically like driving around a car.
