His show was losing 40-50 million a year. His advertisers were pulling out also.

If they put him back on, he will be a bigger money loser, as he will have lost half his advertisers, and over 1/3 of the stations that carried him. Now, explain how putting him on makes sense.

I majored in broadcasting, so I know how this all works, and his little speech gave them what they needed to cancel him. Even then they tried to work with him, and he told them to F off.

SO where does this leave ABC. I suspect they want to bring hom back in a few weeks after its settles down, but it has moved past that. The advertisers will still be gone, and absent an apology like demanded from the affricates, they will probably not carry him.

Now they may bring him back just to prove he wasn’t cancelled for free speech but without advertisers and stations carrying him, what would be the point? Get token leftists points. They already have turned on ABC and Disney anyway. His show will be losing even more money.

And off topic, but Disney has now managed to piss off everyone. Good job guys. Ran off conservatives, and families first, and now the left hates you anyway. Pure genius guys...

Just guessing here but prior to Colbert and Kimmel getting the modified heave ho what was the rationale for keeping them on the air losing money? Near as I can tell the shows promoted other show biz assets and also the dim party. Right now the dims don’t have much federal power and with Trump somewhat in control the talk shows have now veered into serious liability territory.
