2024 Tigers < 0.20% chance late in season of making playoffs...get in (but die in Cleveland)

2025 Tigers > 99.9% chance late in season of making playoffs...die out (in Cleveland)

Stephen Vogt > A.J. Hinch...that much CAN be said

(...but can Cleveland finally knock out THEIR nemesis, the Yankees?)

Tigers ran out of gas just before the all-star break...maybe they played over their heads and they are at best a .500 team as constructed...who knows.

Still, blowing a 14 game lead is a collapse and embarrassment of epic proportions...no matter what their line-up. It will stick with the old English -D for a loooong time.

Just a "weird" Jekyll & Hyde team.

If Cleveland sweeps Detroit in Cleveland in their series later in the week Detroit will likely be out of the playoffs entirely.

Terrific managing by Vogt and the pitching staff has carried the team but no Shane Bieber= one and done in the playoffs, like 2013
