One small correction about your post that foreign workers can be eligible for Social Security Disability after 10 years of lawful work and SocSec contributions in the USA.

They would need 35 years of maximum SS contributions to be eligible for the highest SS Disability payment.

However, they do get paid more than anyone who just made the minimum SS contribution for 10 years.

How does USA SS Disability work in India?

Do Indian doctors do the exams and on going certifications?

Who certifies they are NOT working in India?
