The five changes are going back to old logo, scrapping plans to change decour and changing 4 redecorated stores back, going back to making biscuits fresh, getting rid of DEI, and no longer sponsoring "pride" events, etc.

No more DEI and LGBTQ agenda. Well done.
Let's see if they stick to that or fall off the wagon six months from now.

Dang. Nothing about putting the deviled egg and large cheese wedge back into their salad.

Quality food, good service, and a clean restaurant. Focus on the basics and don’t skimp on that. Glad to hear they’re listening to customers.

An early Cracker Barrel picture on FR showed an old rifle on the wall. If that goes, then that will be a tell of what to expect down the road.

“We heard clearly that the modern remodel design does not reflect what you love about Cracker Barrel,” the company said. “The vintage Americana you love will always be here — the rocking chairs on the porch, our fireplaces and peg games...”Thank God - and thanks to the good people who run Cracker Barrel. And thanks for bringing back handmade biscuits.

They could have saved a lot of money by listening to their customer base earlier.

Have they sh*t-canned the woketard CEO yet? Until that happens, I won’t set foot in Cracker Barrel again.

“what we need to know,” same as “You are making everything wrong,” “you won’t believe our surprise pick,” and a myriad of others. I do not blame them as they are struggling for your eyeballs as the former Intel chief said. Ok, just do not take us for fools.

CB biscuits have never been that good - doughy and tasteless. How about bringing back actual cooked food (instead of microwaved frozen)?

I said from the start of all this that all that Cracker Barrel needs to do to turn things around is improve the quality of their food and launch a marketing campaign to improve awareness of their brand. The last time I had breakfast at one I thought it was pretty lackluster, but I do have to say that their fried chicken, which they improved a few years ago, was some of the best I’ve ever had. Novelty or theme restaurants can’t survive if they don’t have good food. Just look at Rainforest Cafe as one example.
Cracker Barrel isn’t exactly just a theme restaurant like that, but it was the closest comparison I could think of. Cracker Barrel has a built-in following, so it was really stupid that they briefly engaged in a rebranding that was going to alienate those dedicated customers in search of new customers (woke Gen Z?) who likely never would have set foot in one anyway.
