The CO2 red line for plant death on Earth is around 150 ppm...During the last Glacial Maximum (20,000 years ago) CO2 was 180 ppm...The optimum CO2 level for plants is around 1,000 ppm...CO2 today is 422 ppm...

Ehhhhhhh. Where did it go?
I’ve been adding methane, can’t help it.
Aaaaaack! Now there’s not enough CO2!!!???
Butt, butt, butt........
Thanks a lot, Algore! I’m going out and firing up my gas lawn mower and I’m going to let it run for no reason.
And the very slight rise in CO2 levels over the last 70 or so years has allowed massive global greening, such that forested areas in remote, extreme-climate fringe areas like sub-arctic Canada and Russia, or Saharan Africa, have expanded greatly
The world NEEDS more CO2!
The ocean.
I looked up the name on the internet and all I could find by that name was an Australian drummer.
I thought the ocean produced CO2. Goodness gracious. Was EVERYthing I was taught in Hugh school a lie?
Damn you, autocorrect! Will I never be rid of you!?
OMG everyone breathe out
Science became nothing but foo-foo white papers in the late 80's and has steadily worsened every year since.
Aaaaaack! Now there’s not enough CO2!!!???
~~~
Which of course, wouldn’t matter.
THis is what I have been saing for decades as a thought experience to expose the CO2 myth.
IF they suddenly claimed global temperatures were dropping and a new glacial period was a threat, what do you think we would do to try to mitigate the cooling?
What they wouldn’t suggest is to emit as much CO2 in the atmopshere as possible.
The reason is that it wouldn’t work.
CO2’s greenhouse properties are both negligible as well as transient.
The TREES ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!
If you’ve ever spent much time in the ocean in a smaller boat, you know the ocean water is nothing but a giant body of water with giant fizzles. The water actually boils with gasses percolating off. Mostly carbon dioxide I would think? A little methane here and there?
It always amazes me that people who claim to be promoting “Green” are advocating for the elimination of the most important plant nutrient.
Correct. As always, the insane Left is 100% wrong on everything. ALL plant life maximizes growth and photosynthesis between 750 and 1500ppm, depending on species. Every greenhouse on earth pumps in elevated levels of CO2. I would have my students call any local greenhouse to verify this simple fact. The Left is SO easy to debunk, and yet the gaslighting is eternal. We get MORE crops, MORE flowers, MORE trees, MORE natural grasses, and MORE life at elevated CO2, not less.
By the way, the FAR FAR more interesting fact is that, while CO2 is increasing, and "too much" CO2 is a bad thing (that level is above 5000ppm, for humans and mammals... at 422 ppm, growing at 1.8ppm/yr, we will get there in 2543 years... not the year 2543, in 2543 years... the year 4568)... and the oceans contribute MANY times more CO2 than all of human activity, so if you REALLY care about CO2 emissions, you'd be for attacking the problem from the main source first.
But the FAR FAR more interesting fact is that O2 has been growing MUCH faster, and "too much" O2 is just as deadly as CO2... make one phone call to any scuba diver, and get that fact verified as well... CO2 is only up parts per million over the last century, but O2 is up many parts per THOUSAND!!!
And then you have to wonder, if O2 and CO2 are rising, which atmospheric elements are in decline? Air is mostly Nitrogen (78%), then Oxygen (21%), and then Argon (0.9%), and then trace amounts of lots of others. Is slightly less Argon or Nitrogen even more dangerous than changes to O2 and CO2? Are the trace elements disappearing, and if so, do we desperately need them?? Any REAL scientist would be asking these questions. I've never seen or heard of anyone even mentioning these realities.
