NO it depends on the refion of the country your live in.. the mid-west call them squad cars, others patrol cars..
The current lingo is more like “my ride or my wheels”.
I know a 17-year-old who calls a car a “whip.” I have no idea how that one started. Aside from ride/wheels/whip, if he had just said “my car” or “the car” or “the Dodge” or “the Challenger,” I’d probably buy it, but, damn, “vehicle” smells. It’s just so stiff and formal, right? Like a cop saying, “Sir, please exit your vehicle with your hands up.”

Very unlikely lingo for a young, plugged-in/hip man of 22 that is also very liberal minded. It sounds like something somebody wrote for him. Somebody not very bright.
And if they had bungled the investigation you’d be giving them crap for that.
