“I responded quite forcefully, and I finally said, ‘Mr. President, don’t just listen to me. Your chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Dan Caine, is outside. He’s out in the hall, bring him in and ask him that question. He’s your senior, he’s your principal military adviser,’” Kellogg said.
“And he did, and Dan said the same thing. He went, ‘Nope, not winning.’”
Sounds like a pretty safe bet for you then. Want to be stupid?
By now, most likely, a very large percentage of the population knows someone who was killed, lost or severely damaged in Ukraine.
Probably a few more have been victims of the returning former convict veterans, who won their freedom from prison fighting for Putin in Ukraine.
Add gas shortages, food shortages, loss of free speech, etc., plus inflation to the Russian mood and I wonder how they feel about Putin and his war, especially when there’s talk of many more years of war ahead.
Winter is gonna suck for the proles there just like what they’ve done to the Ukrainians.
