In college, an assignment put me in the LA County Museum of Art to photograph Rodin's The Thinker. It's black and the museum does not allow tripods, so to get anything I was forced to use 1/4-second exposures--with predictable results.

I have learned to have great respect for wildlife photographers. Animals move. They don’t care if you get your shot or not.
Most of mine go in the trash. Still, I keep trying.
