The question is, was he anti-statist? I'm pretty sure we all know the answer to that.
"Communist" is just a Boogey Man label used to scare children after World War 2. The true political spectrum has "statist" at one extreme and "anarchist" at the other (and happy people somewhere in the middle).
Anarchists have always been used by Communists to bring down society, so they can “Build Back Better”, and then when they are no longer of any use, they are first against the wall.
