If I was the kid's mother, I'd be so angry that the first thing I'd want to know is who he'd been in touch, or hung with that radicalized him, and where and how did he get the weapon. Any word if this a-hole had siblings?

The weapon is a zero issue. Anyone can get a weapon. As it should be. The mind of the person that does not respect another person’s life is the problem, and yes, I’d want to know who influenced him and especially if his problems with society came on suddenly.
