You can never go back to the old ways. They are long gone, and won't be back. Just like the greatness this country had after WWII. That will never be back either. RATS would never allow it anyway. RATS deliberately allowed unlimited illegals here to gain political power and keep it. It had nothing to do with helping people better their life. Children who are born here are not citizens at birth if their parents, especially the mother still holds allegiance to a foreign country. To become a citizen, you have to renounce all allegiances to the government, monarchy, etc., in the country you left. None of these people have done that, which means their children born here are not legal citizens.
RATS are all about using the influx of uncontrolled population to overwhelm the system, suck taxpayers dry, and steal elections. Chaos is their closest friend. Supporting criminals, and fighting for the bad guy is in their blood because they think it helps them politically. Nothing they've done has America's best interest at heart. People have been allowed to violate our immigration laws for decades. Many claim they came here for a better life, but if that didn't include taking steps to become an American citizen, which is part of making a better life, then they only came here to break the law, and don't deserve to stay. People who have been here 20-30 years without even taking any step toward citizenship, should be the first ones to go. They've been criminals the longest.
You need to stop fantasizing and deal with reality. Stop acting and thinking like a bleeding heart liberal. There is no advantage to keeping those criminals in this country, and every single one of them who came here without permission is a criminal. You can't white wash that.
