I, for one, embrace the concept of what others refer to as ‘tin foil’.
It is a form of analytical thinking which transcends normal logic, collecting all data and refuting none in the absence of facts to eliminate said data.
Failure to use such an approach - FAR from isolated and likely has a name in formal investigative training - is analogous to finding a puzzle piece on the carpet, ignorantly discarding it in the trash only later to realize its importance either in absentia or failure by subject or others to complete a a ‘puzzle’.
Just sayin’.
