He has been a painful pimple on FR’s butt for a long time.
Hope to NOT see him again.

The left has woken a sleeping giant.

I would like to agree with you, but apathy runs deep in the Republican voters. I didn't know the man personally, but I was greatly impressed with what he said and did. In fact he was so successful in combating liberalism the Democrats decided that he had to be murdered and acted accordingly. Will conservatives start knocking off prominent socialists like AOC, Ilan Omar, Jasmine Crock-o-shit, Chris Murphy, Fauxcahantas, etc. very probably not. Though I think socialists deserve to reap what they sow, conservatives are too law abiding and moral to go knocking off the opposition.

a Demon possessed, God hating, America hating left! W

Maybe, but it was a rational act with premeditation. Who was the most effective person in breaking through the campus socialist echo chamber - Charlie Kirk. Can you think of anyone else right or left that was as effective in instilling reality in "young skulls full of mush?" He was so effective that the Democrats decided he had to be murdered and then primed an assassin to do it.

Fortunately Utah has the death penalty, but only good if the catch whoever is responsible.

And maybe 10% of the country knew who Charlie Kirk was before today. And now, all the country knows who he was, and many will learn what he was about.

He just became more powerful than they could possibly imagine.

The left seems intent on sparking a Civil War.

Which they will lose badly, quickly and with much bloodshed.

Hmmm…..

I no longer look for logic or strategy in their actions.

I hope you’re correct, but more likely those who knew who he was are shocked and outraged and saddened. Democrats who knew of him are probably dancing in the streets and the ones who just heard of him today are taking their direction of their despicable elected representatives. Republicans who just discovered his legacy today will probably say, “How awful,” and still find an excuse not to vote in an off year election.

Yep, a three letter agency seems to have turned drug smuggling into a source of revenue. Maybe we could ask Bill Clinton about this one, he might know answer? But can’t ask Barry Seal…..

When GPH first arrived onboard I and some others immediately pegged him as a troll.
He did get a few “Talkings to” early on.
Toned it down for a hot minute.
Then with the ruse of zeeperism and “everyone I disagree with is putin” he really started to.. er.. shine.

Yeah, I remember him showing up.. was a real PITA.
I think he went quiet for a few years.. then made his comeback.
I vaguely remember him getting a few time-outs (zots and then back in a week or 2).

I have been wondering... how far up the (political) ladder this goes.

Oh, I definitely expect he will be back, if not under this name, he will have a new retread name.
He has orgasms attempting to piss off conservative FReepers.
Reminds me of a few other troll that are still here.

I submit that this was done by what I will forever call:
“The James Earl Ray Wing of the Democrat Party.”

"The left has woken a sleeping giant."

I thought that with the Trump shooting.

This feels a lot different.

See, the Trump assassination attempt was still within the Overton Window. We're used to Presidential assassination attempts.

This was the assassination of someone who spoke -- respectfully -- on college campuses. This was an assassination to prevent someone from exercising his First Amendment right, and to try to intimidate others into silence.

This, to me, has a paradigm shift similar to the one we experienced on 9/11/2001.
