Trump on Russia’s incursion into NATO: ‘Here we go!’
CNN ^ | September 10, 2017 | Kevin Liptak

President Donald Trump reacted Wednesday with a degree of bemusement toward Russia’s drone incursion into Poland, a NATO member that Trump has previously vowed to defend amid heightened tensions with Moscow.

“What’s with Russia violating Poland’s airspace with drones?” Trump asked in a short post on Truth Social. “Here we go!” The brief mention of the incident — and the vague suggestion of continued fallout — came as US officials were digesting the overnight events, when more than a dozen Russian drones entered Polish airspace, spurring a response from NATO to scramble fighter jets to shoot them down.

The incident amounted to a striking escalation of Russia’s conflict in neighboring Ukraine, which Trump has sought unsuccessfully to end. Twenty-six days after his high-profile meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska, there appears to be little progress toward ending the war.

Amid growing frustration with Putin, Trump has said he’s ready to apply new sanctions on Moscow, but hasn’t detailed what measures he’s considering. And, so far, he hasn’t applied any new punishments beyond an additional trade penalty on India over its transactions with Russia. According to the White House, Trump is planning to speak later Wednesday with Poland’s president, who he met in the Oval Office last week.

In that session, Trump pledged his continued support for Poland, and even said he’d be open to sending additional US troops to the country amid questions of his commitment to an American military presence along NATO’s eastern flank. “We’ll put more there if they want,” Trump said during his talks with Karol Nawrocki. “But they’ve long wanted to have a larger presence. We have some countries that have more — not too many. But no, they’ll be staying in Poland. We’re very much aligned with Poland.”

Before the Alaska summit, President Trump had promised harsher sanctions in the event a cease-fire deal wasn't struck. He then backed away.

It's time to turn the screws.

Latest from Putin: “The Russians want about 6,000 square kilometers that they have not yet conquered through military force. That’s what the Russians want. The Ukrainians, on the flip side, want security guarantees, whether from Europeans or somebody else,” the US Vice President stressed.”

Putin would very much like to whack the USA and its stock market by having the US upset China with secondary sanctions and then having China cut off Walmart, Amazon and most US manufacturers dependent on Chinese inputs.

Trump needs to back off the sanctions talk and remove the sanctions on India. The USA shouldn’t have most of the world upset with us. India is more important than Ukraine.

Ten Ukrainian working-age refugees could finance a mercenary from the USA or EU.

The way some people on FR post articles and attack other Freepers, an ample supply of hand grenades and RPGs would get Zelensky close to Moscow.

Face it, there are no more sanctions to be had.

Your pal FJB and his DC globalists tried literally everything they could. Even having Coca Cola and McDonalds sell all their franchises, blowing up Germany’s gas pipelines, and confiscating yachts from out-of-favor Russian oligarchs in the Mediterranean.

The only thing left is for the EU and USA to cut off their own arm, and bleed on them to try and make them dirty. Either that, or go to war directly.

will Donald Trump do that?

“China cut off Walmart, Amazon and most US manufacturers dependent on Chinese inputs....”

In the BRICs utopia, China won’t the US market. But then “utopia” literally means “no place,” as in an imaginary state of perfection.

In the REAL world, China is teetering on economic disaster. No way can they afford to cut off their biggest export market.

Haven’t followed this.

Has Tulsi announced that from non Ukraine non Poland sources she has confirmed the drones(satellite imagery of the drones in flight)?

Did the Kremlin say this happened?

Without confirmation from either of those two sources, it didn’t happen.

“security guarantees”

*********

“Apparently the war in Poland is all but over....Britain and France have done nothing on the western front to relieve the tremendous pressure on Poland.”

U.S. foreign correspondent William Shirer, September 1939

Zelensky would be wise to ask for annual EU funding to retain in Ukrainian military service the battle-hardened soldiers he has plus money to buy weapons for them.

In 1933, the US was “teetering on economic disaster.”

In 1945, US soldiiers met troops of the Soviet Union in eastern Germany.

China now has unmatched industrial might.

The Adminstration threatened an escalation in sanctions prior to the summit.

Per Secretary Rubio on ABC’s “This Week,” August 17:

“[Russia is] already facing sanctions, severe sanctions, and they’re facing ones from the Europeans as well. So we may very well reach a point where everyone concludes, ‘no peace is going to happen here, we’re going to have to do more sanctions.’”

“China is teetering on economic disaster.”

The Chinese real estate has to be sold at affordable pricing, and it will be.

The Empire State Building was eventually leased.

The Rockefellers followed through on the purchase of three Midtown blocks.

China GDP = $18.74 trillion

US GDP = $29.18 trillion

How is China “unmatched”?

“China cut off Walmart, Amazon and most US manufacturers dependent on Chinese inputs....”

Is this real?

How many millions of workers and hundreds/ thousands of factories does this represent?

it’s not as if when they “shut off” Walmart/ Amazon, that those millions of.. whatever...say LA Dodgers handtowels. made at the LA Dodgers handtowel factory in Xianxing

Are just redirected and shippment over to Raj’s Mumbai roadside market and sold.

The Russian news service TASS:

Poland shot down three out of the 19 drones that entered its airspace, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said.

According to him, violations of Poland’s air borders persisted throughout the night, from 11:30 p.m. local time on September 9 to 6:30 a.m. local time on September 10

Belarusian air defenses tracked unmanned aerial vehicles entering the country’s airspace last night and shot some of them down, said Pavel Muraveiko, chief of the Belarusian General Staff.

There are already GHOST CITIES in China, multi-billion-dollar developments that have been consigned to rot and ruin. The Chinese real estate bubble is unprecedented in history.

China trade surplus with the US is about $300B.

China GDP is over $19T. So if they shut off the surplus the have with the US, it would amount to about 1.5% of GDP lost.

Projected growth this year is 4%. So instead of 4% this year they would grow at 2.5%. The 4% would return the following year since it is a one time cut.

Imagining everyone is going to collapse without the US just doesn’t mesh when one examines actual numbers.

(This doesn’t even address what happens if the Chinese decide no one outside BRICs needs their supermagnets.)
