Trump has never supported vaccine mandates. When I searched just now I only see his efforts to cut funding to them or defensive comparisons between Trump and Biden, "Neither Biden nor Trump ever said they wanted to mandate..."
Trump ended federal funding for schools which mandate the C19 vax.
Trump is now working to expose the pharma lies by saying, (parapharsing), "Wait if they work as well as Pharma says, and they have medical evidence, then they must be effective...."
Trump paid the pharmas big bucks to develop vaccines THAT WORK very quickly (Warp Speed). The pharmas said they work. So Trump is saying if there's medical evidence and they work, why get rid of them. NOTE at the same time he's questioning what he's been told by pharmas, "I've always heard good things and how effective they are. Well, are they or aren't they."
He's surfacing the evidence. If Pfizer and Moderna now have to admit they don't work and what they showed trump was false, I think they have many problems and they don't get to keep the billions and billions he gave them in 2020.

I do think that Trump is asking for accountability from the C19 vax companies lately - saying all data shown him was great, but Pfizer never showed the public that data. So he's asking, do they work or not. That word, 'work', stands out just a little. When he initially made that statement in 2020, offering money for fast tracking the vax, I noticed his emphasis on the word 'work.' Recently I noticed the same emphasis. So Pfizer and Moderna have to explain why the data they showed him was never given to the public, and they have to defeat the world wide evidence that they don't work (and we know they don't work).
So Pfizer can't explain why it showed President Trump data that was perfect or ideal and why it never showed the public. It can't show they worked. That seems like standard fraud, and I think 'fraud vitiates everything.' In other words, the vax companies were not liable due to legal 'gifts' protecting them from liability. But, if they committed fraud, then they become liable for the harm (vaccine harm) they caused. That last part is just me soaking up comments - so I might be wrong. I have zero legal training. But this is global fraud and crimes against humanity in my book.At the very least I think he can severely damage or collapse the pharmas by requiring the return of the vast sums of money they made based on fraudulent data they showed him - and failing to honestly meet his standard (that they 'work').
