I think Socialism is thousands of years old. I'm pretty sure one of the reasons for the fall of The Roman Empire was Socialism.
And homosexuality.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. I don't think there is anything wrong about socialism/communism failing. I wish it would fail more spectacularly.

Bread and circuses? I think that lead in the water supply is a likelier cause. What’s more remarkable is how long it lasted and its continuing cultural influence.
