You had predicted that Vivek would sweep into the Republican nomination after a successful half-term as governor of Ohio. DeSantis has upped his game in FLorida, and if running a state well gets you the nomination, he would be ahead of VR for many people.

I won’t argue whether Vivek Ramaswamy would be a better candidate or better president. I am just saying that as things stand, even stipulating a superior half-term as governor in Ohio, that will not translate into a presidential nomination.

I do agree that if any of these men run a competent campaign, that Newsom will be go down, with numbers similar to 2024.
