After living through the 50s and 60s, I would have preferred to skip the 70s. Plaid bell bottoms and men with Clairol “dos”. No thanks. I’m happy I spent the entire 70s doing Cold War training and learning to kill Russkis.

I mean, being in the army and all. All I can remember of the 70's is working my butt off trying to keep me and my young family out of the poorhouse...
