Since the Maidan was in 2013, the prediction for war was mine as well, but I am not named after a philosopher, nor am a bundle of algorithms. If you've made money on the program, good on you. If they've made money on you, good on them. Before the predictable naysayers enter the fray, one point:

"...the $75 trillion in assets" is the point. Of the possible autarks in the world, Russia, our USA, Brazil and Canada look to have resources in abundance enough to sustain ourselves. Europe, with its cultural memory of empires (plural) has nothing like this. Even the EU eyes wrapping Norway into it in terms of being a "member state " while Norway resists, having said "no" in 1972 and 1994 again.

I tend to reduce much down to rent seeking, and the gain of another's assets as the structure of the world geopolitically. Much else is theater designed to obscure "I want." For this, war is assured where it can be waged.
