From Action Network, a sports betting website, posted in August 2024: "Overall, NFL fans are pretty evenly split between Trump and Harris, with the balance tipping in Harris's favor. In response to the question 'Who do you plan to vote for in the presidential race?' Forty-five percent of respondents said they plan to vote for Kamala Harris, and 42% plan to vote for Donald Trump."

While the breakdown is slightly skewed to the left compared to the general voting population, it is evident that many conservatives follow NFL football. The Norman Lear Center, which of course is liberal, posted a study in 2017 that stated that the following NFL teams had the most conservative fan bases:

Tennessee Titans – 37%
Kansas City Chiefs – 35%
New England Patriots – 35%
Denver Broncos – 34%
Jacksonville Jaguars – 34%

Considering that the area where the Patriots and Broncos play are liberal Democratic leaning, it is further evidence of conservatives following football. (The study was done in 2016, so there may have been shifts since that time.)
