To: Tell It Right

The song isn’t the problem. I honestly don’t even know the words. It’s more the idea that this group has their national anthem And the rest of the nation something else. E plurbis Unum, one nation under God indivisible etc.

Agreed. That’s my problem too with how the song is presented, in a divisive manner. I’m just saying there’s a better way to handle it than by with fussing or boycotting. And that is to turn the song back on the left like its original intent. The song gives God, whom the left denies, praise. For freeing people who prayed to God. God freed them using His people against the pro-slavery “enlightened” people, the last four decades of which were mainly organized through the Democrat Party.

I’m tired of the left taking over ideas and groups that they used to hate. Things like churches and Boy Scouts and football and abolition and civil rights. I’m tired of us abandoning these entities as though they’re not worth preserving.

It’s long past time we started using every opportunity we have to remind people who was in the right and who was in the wrong. And IMHO the best opportunities are when the left tries to claim ownership of things created by God’s church.
