I saw that this morning and it was confusing I remember joking that it was a land acknowledgement song. The shots of the crowd seemed less then enthusiastic they had the volume low you Hardy hear her... what a bunch of garbage

I personally think we’re handling the song incorrectly. Lift Every Voice and Sing is a thanks to God for the abolition of slavery because the Christians won the argument against the pro slavery Dims.

Every time the left brings up slavery we should respond that the abolition movement was a church movement and that the so called “enlightened” people wanted to keep blacks in their place. A century later it was the same thing with the civil rights movement (again a church movement) ending segregation pushed by Dims. Now it’s a church movement protecting kids from abortion and hedonism pushed by Dims.
