There are a lot of people that think that what Cracker Barrel did was intentional - for publicity. Some say that the stores w/ the new logos on them already were about to close anyway.
I don’t believe a word of it. $100M isn’t free publicity for sure.
But thats the beauty of it…. AE is not naive enough to not think of the “backlash”….. and the left predictably came through with flying colors.
