Hey, you’re writing to a “C” student in HS chemistry. But I got an “A” in plain English.

“More potent” takes up less space when transporting. Pot smuggling was the hardest of all so they legalized it. Lots of space, lots of stink.

I love it how the tv station has a junkie on call for the methhead opinion of this.

1 employee dead, 4 others treated for suspected drug overdoses at Austin’s Buckshot Bar

Five people were treated for suspected drug overdoses at a downtown Austin bar early Tuesday and one of them later died, authorities said.

Officers responded to a 911 call around 3 a.m. reporting multiple overdoses at Buckshot Bar at 519 East Sixth St., the Austin Police Department said in a statement. When officers arrived, they found several people in need of medical attention and administered Narcan — a medication that can reverse opioid overdoses — to five individuals.

Wow. The Statesman even has a Google map. The bar is situated between Coyote Ugly and Jim Jim’s Water Ice.

Pretty close. Yes. Trying to coddle people from the consequences of their own actions has not worked... at all.

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission has opened its own investigation.

I missed this at the end.

I suspect the bar has seen it’s last day of operation. I hope the owners just close up shop and move on. They may even want to skip town (if they were not among the decesased or [I cannot think of the proper word to use here. It is not an overdose as any dose of the substance is over doing it It is also not an injury or illness.]

I recently saw the very best anti-opioid drug video. It shows about six people giving their reasons why they took just one pill and then they fade to a semi transparent gray, because they have died.

People who were once active addicts, especially high profile sports stars and entertainers, and are now clean, are the wrong people IMHO to teach staying off drugs. To me they are just examples that show people you can mess up (“party”) for a long time and then recover.

Another good ad could be made showing Len Bias playing basketball at the University of Maryland, then his being selected number one or two in the NBA draft, and then being brought out of his apartment on a stretcher with his entire body covered by a sheet. That is the kind of video that will stop kids from starting.

Distributors should be tried for involuntary manslaughter and serve time.
