US President Donald Trump urged Europe to cease its purchases of Russian oil on a call with European leaders at the Coalition of the Willing, Fox News reported on Thursday, citing a White House official.
Additionally, Trump stressed that European leaders should increase economic pressure on China "for funding Russia's war efforts," while stressing the importance of curbing financial aid to Russia.

“What works? What do you recommend?”
Putin offered a deal. Take it. It will only get worse from here.
Fico and Orban are on their way out.
I don’t care. I spent enough time in Ukraine to see what a dumpster fire it is. Let it all be. There’s enough huge problems right in my own yard. I’m not interested in that one.
From your understanding, what does Ukraine give up?
What type of defense would Putin allow Ukraine to have?
Would Putin allow for EU troops to be stationed in Ukraine?
Should Russia suffer any negative consequences for its war on Ukraine?
“From your understanding, what does Ukraine give up?”
Very little land that it hasn’t already lost, if Ukraine stops wasting time. No NATO membership allowed.
“What type of defense would Ukraine be allowed to have?”
This is an area where negotiations don’t seem settled, but Ukraine would be limited, no doubt about that.
“Would Putin allow for EU troops to be stationed in Ukraine?”
No, Putin considers EU/NATO troops at the Russian border to be an existential threat to Russia. Think Cuban missile crisis.
And you can leave the USA, sine you despise it.
Yes, they are leeches.
--- "Yes, they are leeches."
Note "Germany as head of EU Commission and Germany as current Chancellor sitting together -- "leeches" -- looking to manipulate President Trump so recently. "Do the heavy lifting, so we can preen and have meetings and press conferences."
“””””No, Putin considers EU/NATO troops at the Russian border to be an existential threat to Russia.””””
Why do you guys keep posting that when you know that Russia shares about 1600 miles of border with our alliance nations and forces, and never seems very concerned about it?
What type of deference if any should the West provide for Ukraine?
Would there be any consequences to Russia if it attacked Ukraine again after conclusion of a peace deal?
“Why do you guys keep posting that when you know that Russia shares about 1600 miles of border with our alliance nations and forces, and never seems very concerned about it?”
He is concerned about it and that’s why he doesn’t want another 600 mile border with NATO.
Putin has a peace offer on the table, take it or keep fighting. I don’t care either way.
By the way, Zelenski just admitted the other day he can’t take the lost land back. He can’t even hold the line where it is now. The only thing that can help Ukraine is a lot of seasoned ground troops. Europe has none to send. Are you ready to send Americans?
He doesn’t seem concerned about it, since he launched this war 830 miles of border with NATO has been added and Putin casually pulled troops away from that border when he wanted to, Kaliningrad has been largely neutered along with the Suwałki Gap, as NATO grew.
President Trump is satisfied with having us training the Ukraine Army in Germany and supplying them with weapons, like the rest of NATO he isn’t sending us into the war with Russia and North Korea.
You’ve got everything that doesn’t matter figured out. Putin is pressing forward, completing his plan. When he’s ready to stop, he’ll stop, unless his current offer or something close enough to his offer is accepted.
Or, someone stops him. If NATO/US could stop him they would have.
Lol, NATO isn’t interested in joining the war with our Air Forces and Navies, and armies, it looks like Putin has fallen very short of his original plan and will have to settle for what he can get out of his debacle.
At this point it looks like an independent Ukraine will still exist when this is over.
NATO has benefited greatly from this war and is much stronger and better situated than 4 years ago, and getting stronger every month, which of course benefits us in the Pacific.
Loaded question...Russia hasn't declared war on Ukraine.
A better question might be how many more negative consequences can the West absorb in their feckless pursuit of regime change in Russia via its mentally impaired proxy Ukraine?
stealing from Academia is much less damaging to America than stealing from our businesses, IMO
Sounds fine to me except for the fact it hasn’t ended yet so people are still dying and infrastructure is still being destroyed.
