I have a lot of respect for the Japanese. The country is clean, prosperous, and relatively safe. Their products are of good quality. They have serious respect for culture but their hierarchies are impenetrable. Their birth rate is too low and they are capable of being heartless monsters (especially v. China). Interesting place, one of the few in the world I’d like to go see.

Not that clean! Like in the US, some parts are very clean, some are not!
There is huge alcohol problem and the way they treat women!
I would send all US feminists to live there for a while!
Definitely interesting to see, but I would NOT like to live there!
