$138 million (?) back sprain?
He’s injury prone. For once Jerry Jones may actually have made a wise decision and unloaded Micah Parsons on the Packers knowing he would eventually break down again. Time will tell.
Vikings fan here, and I think it’s gonna be an exciting season for the NFC North. The Vikes are loaded on both sides of the ball (although we’re starting a rookie QB), the Lions are still a powerhouse, and the Packers have strengthened their team. Even the Bears should be better. It’s gonna be fun.

All these people comparing this trade with Reggie White are crazy. White was truly a generational player. For whatever reason, I am very cautious about Parsons. I think we way over payed, but I certainly hope he proves me wrong.

$138 is cheap. He actually got $188 for 4 years.

Micah’s first four years are in that tier. Dominant. All pro level play. Early achievements match the top tier of all time. Does he continue that? Who knows. Last year was not as a good. He faced injuries and personnel falloff around him. He thrived in Dan Quinn’s defense. Did he make it run or did Quinn make him great?
I know this. He is a difference maker the packers have not had in some time. He deserved a huge contract.

Maybe Parson’s former teammates will appreciate being paid now because Parson isn’t getting 40% of the payroll. It is still a team sport, so now GB will have to deal with the cap problems.

There was another good Edge rusher on the Cowboys, Parsons fought with him endlessly, refusing to coordinate, or get along with this excellent player BTW is now with the Seahawks. I expect him to be a leader and a good player, Parsons is as big a waste of money as the QB Cleveland traded the farm away for. Even if he is that big a difference maker, Green Bay will be destroyed.
The team receiving the player, has their own staff of Doctors. Let the buyer beware. Parsons has taken away 2 first round picks, and a 4th rounder in the future, and the money it will take to bring in better players. HE IS NOT Reggie White, or even Hutchison.
