To obtain the formatted transcript on our desktop PC, I stopped the vid, clicked in the CC below the vid, then under the description of it, I clicked on Show transcript, then up on the right, I hit the 3 vertical dots to Toggle timestamps, then placed my cursor at the beginning of the transcript I want to copy, then scrolled down to the end, then held down the Shift key, and copied that. Then I asked perplexity.ai, "Can you turn the following transcript into readable form, with paragraphs, punctuation, etc. and format it as html?
