I recall umping a Little League game, where I stood behind the catcher to call balls & strikes.

Got so tired of base-on-balls...6 walks per half inning...that on one occasion, the pitch crossed the plate well over the batter's head, but landed squarely in the catcher's glove which hadn't moved a inch.

I called that pitch a "STRIKE"! ...never asked to umpire another game. ;)

That’s funny 😂

It was pretty typical for that strike zone to get bigger and bigger when there was a bad pitcher! Otherwise the game would never end
