Not weather satellites, climate hoax satalites.
It’s relatively simple to measure carbon dioxide without satellites, and knowing how much is present on a day to day basis is not going to influence a weather forecast anyway.
That being said, like a lot of other things, addressing these issues is relatively pointless if scientific attitudes don’t change and the education system doesn’t respond. It will just be a matter of time until a change of administration leads to a fast cancellation of these changes. I think it is a herculean task to change these attitudes after several decades of brainwashing, and I can’t imagine how it happens from directives of a president, it needs to happen because of a widespread change in thinking at all levels of society. I don’t see this happening and the culture wars are going to intensify. The only way out of this is probably for some iconic figure like a new Einstein to come along and convince science to change.
Also we need to be aware that some of these issues can be a bit more complex than either side asserts in the culture war environment. I view climate change as an example of something that is not what either side says it is but something in between.

The words “climate” and “science” in the same sentence equals “propaganda”.
Same is true of satellite business.
Climate is weather over a thirty year period by definition. No scientist denies that. This is stupid political grandstanding to feed the mouth breathers. Weather and climate are forever linked that’s how science works. The Solar output, solar wind and the heliopause distance plus the associated cosmic rays control long term cloud cover, albedo and heat balance. Shutting down sensors is not going to help prove the above facts in fact it makes it harder to prove.
