Fair enough, but that possibility has to be weighed against the risks of surgery and a stint in the hospital.

I know people who’ve done elective surgeries (e.g., knee-replacement, benign polyp removal in colon etc.)... and ended up leaving the hospital in a body bag.

Definitely, everything has to be weighed in these decisions.

Prostate cancer is definitely one they don't always act on, because it's usually so slow growing.

Yup. My son spent hundreds of days in the hospital. He tripped the sepsis protocol many times. It’s a dangerous place to be.
