High-tech global drone development led by Israel:
Israel is a global leader in military drone technology and uses its UAVs for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), primarily in its own region.
Surveillance of Palestinians: Israel’s use of drones for surveillance and mapping is well-established within the occupied Palestinian territories.
Past spying allegations: Israel has been accused of spying on the U.S. in the past, including allegations of planting cell phone surveillance devices near the White House.
As for drone mapping claims, Israel, a massive user of US armaments, would have an interest in mapping foreign aid routes the US employs, particularly the route of US arms to Ukraine. Israeli high-tech drones could easily map that information.

Levin: These drones are mapping, and the government is concealing information. Most likely these are drones from China. Iran and Russia are too busy right now to do this. This is a massive coverup.

Requirements for foreign drones in U.S. airspace
Approval needed: Any foreign military aircraft, including drones, requires explicit authorization from the U.S. Department of State to operate in U.S. national airspace.
Strict process: The application for diplomatic clearance, which must include the flight’s purpose, route, and destination, must be submitted several business days in advance. A foreign military flying unauthorized drones would be a serious violation.
Federal monitoring: The FAA, FBI, and Department of Homeland Security jointly monitor U.S. airspace for security threats. In December 2024, they issued a statement confirming there was no evidence of a foreign national security threat from reported drone sightings over the U.S.
